Kelsey Williams is currently studying public relations and business administration at the University of Oregon. Her combined experiences of working at a nonprofit and a large corporation have given her a wide range of capabilities. She leverages her innate organizational skills and passion for working with others to foster effective and positive relationships with clients and coworkers.
Her paid internship in the tax department at Nike allowed her to gain valuable experience working with professionals in a fast-paced setting. She acquired the skills to communicate tax data and numeric information to coworkers and auditors in an effective and concise manner.
Williams began writing targeted emails for the nonprofit organization, A Family For Every Child. She was quickly promoted to the position of social media coordinator for online matching events. Williams continues to use the social media plan she created to write Twitter and Facebook posts and schedule them a month before the next online matching event.
This upcoming summer, she is studying journalism in London and is excited to broaden her communication experience and gain real world experience with international journalism.
